Indianapolis Monumental Marathon + Half Race Day: November 5, 2022

You don’t have to do this alone! Once training starts, every Saturday there is a Group Run to support you on the longest training distance of the week. This is where you will meet the most amazing authentic community of world changers who will love, encourage, and inspire you to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

P.S. Don’t be deceived by the name, walkers and hand cyclists join us too!

Team World Vision Indy Training Starts: July 4, 2022

We have two training plans that have gotten tens of thousands of people across the finish with Team World Vision. These plans will get you across the finish line too!

Training Plan Previews
If you are starting from the couch, this first plan is for you! It starts in minutes NOT miles. This plan has intervals of jogging and walking or fast/brisk walking and regular paced walking. This plan will equip you to cross the finish line of the half marathon (13.1 miles) on November 5th.

If you can slowly jog a 5k, about 3 miles today, this second plan is for you! Take this plan day-by-day and week-by-week and this plan will equip you to cross the finish line of the full marathon (26.2 miles) on November 5th.

Support for Fundraising Doubts

Our motivation to move forward is our belief that every child deserves clean water and all people deserve the disease fighting ability to wash their hands.

Fundraise in Terms of Lives Impacted Instead of Dollars

World Vision is the largest non-government organization provider of clean water. $50 brings clean lasting water with sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to one person. When we invite people to donate we share that $50 brings clean water to one person and we ask how many people they would like to help with clean water and hand washing.

Common Fundraising Questions

1. What if I don't hit my goal?

There is no penalty and you won’t be charged if you don’t hit your goal. This gives you the freedom to set a goal bigger than we can do on our own and trust God.

2. What is the minimum fundraising amount?

There is not a minimum fundraising amount, but we ask all participants to set a minimum goal to bring 40 people clean water. That equates to $2,000. If you do your best pursuing this goal and you don’t hit it, there is no penalty.

3. How do I fundraise when so many people are facing economic hardships?

Especially in a time of need, people are looking for opportunities to help. Your invitation to donate can be a gift for your donor overwhelmed by how to make a difference.

The FUN in FUNdraising

Unlock fun swag as you change lives! Check out these fundraising impact level highlights to remind you that your miles matter. Remember, there is no penalty for not hitting your goal, just missed opportunities to bring more kids clean water by limiting yourself to what you think you can do on your own.

incentives

When you raise $5,000 and hit Super Hero level, you have the option to have your race registration fee refunded back to you, or added onto your fundraising page as a donation (when you register through Team World Vision). If you choose the donation option, that means more funds go toward our work, having even greater impact in the field!
