Your Race Weekend Guide

Dear TWV runners,

What an incredible journey the last few months have been! Together, we have stepped through fear, conquered unfamiliar distances, and been transformed by a gracious God who calls us by name. You have become more than a runner or a walker, you have become an advocate—a microphone for the stories of women and children around the world to be heard. Your passion, energy, and desire to change lives have been on clear display and you are inspiring the world around you. So as we prepare to run, walk, or hobble through the streets of Phoenix, let’s show everyone WHY we continue to move our feet. Let’s advocate for the poor by demonstrating compassion to fellow runners as we help provide fullness of life for children in need. We’re crossing that finish line with no regrets!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Meeting Point

Meet us at the Start Line!

Gear Check

Where: At start lines for the marathon and half marathon

Before the gun fires, both the marathon and half marathon start lines will have gear-check bag-drop locations. Your expo goodie bag doubles as a gear-check bag; this bag is for you to take to the pre-race staging areas. A number that matches your race bib will be put on the outside of your gear-check bag. This is to identify your bag at the post-race finish area, and you will need your bib to prove ownership of your gear-check bag when you pick it up. Please carry any belongings to the pre-race staging area in this bag, as opposed to any other personal bags, which cannot be identified by your race number. Any clothing items dropped along the course will be donated to charity.
