Going up mountain peaks and down canyons, we take on adventures of a lifetime to experience and soak in the masterpieces of God's creation. To recharge and rejuvenate you, each trip includes time carved out for intentional soul care and solitude with God. Each hike will challenge you and provide out-of-this world views.

You will also come away with meaningful, lifelong relationships and be amazed at how much we can accomplish with grit  and mutual encouragement.

Rim to Rim

Each October, a group of amazing Team World Vision captains, top fundraisers, and pastors spend a week in one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon. In one day, we start at one end of the rim, hike down to the Colorado River, and hike back up another side of the rim. Truly majestic, the views will take your breath away as you witness the canyon walls turn from pink to orange to red throughout the day. You can be among the elite few (only one percent of the annual six million visitors) to accomplish hiking the Grand Canyon "Rim to Rim!"

Dates: 4 days in October
Qualification: Pastors, top fundraisers, or captains in your respective city (contact your World Vision staff about how to join this trip!)
Cost: Approximately $750—$1,250

Mount Kilimanjaro

Rising 19,340 ft above sea level, the six days on the trail will challenge you and leave you with lifelong friendships and memories. You will travel through five ecological zones, from glaciers at the summit to jungles with monkeys on the descent. This will be an unforgettable trip that will leave you refreshed and in awe of God's creation. Post-hike, continue with us to witness first-hand World Vision's work in Africa and hear stories of transformation that will inspire you.

Each race has a different goal to make the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity whether through sponsorship or cash fundraising. Because entries to the World Major Marathons series are extremely limited, spots on each team are by invite only.
