Your Race Weekend GuideHey Twin Cities! We began this journey as strangers, but we are approaching the start line as family. Together, we have fought hard and overcome so much. You have become more than a runner; you have become an advocate—a microphone for the stories of women and children all around the world. Your passion, energy, and desire to change lives have been on display and you have inspired so many, including us. So, as we prepare to run, let’s leave it all out on the course. No Regrets. What to BringYou will need your race number (emailed directly from Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon in mid-September and listed on your participant info postcard) and a photo ID to pick up your packet at the Health and Fitness Expo. Additional NotesNew safety and security policies at RiverCentre will require all RiverCentre expo floor visitors to pass through security checkpoints with metal detectors. Lunch is located right up the stairs from Expo. Pick up your race day kit, visit the TWV booth to check in, and get your race shirt and sticker, then head to Team Lunch. |
Race Day Details for RunnersDate and Important TimesSunday, 10/02/2022 Arrive at Meeting Point: 6:30 a.m. Meeting PointLocation: Hope Community Church | 707 10th Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55415 Bathrooms are available for use from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. No parking will be allowed in any of the lots of the church; street parking only. Enter and exit from 11th street only.
Gear CheckGear check is provided by the race. Participants using Gear Check may only drop off gear at the Marathon Start Line in the clear plastic bag they are given at Packet Pick Up. Items in other bags will not be accepted. See more here. Race Day Details for SpectathletesSpectathletes, you are a crucial part of race day! You make this day special for your runner and all runners out there on the course. If you've ever run any kind of race, you know how meaningful the crowds cheers are. Be sure to cheer on all TWV participants by name, wear orange, and plan on being loud! A sign or cowbell is a great addition too.
