What to BringMake sure to bring your ID! Additional NotesThe closest entrance to Hall J is off of Capitol Ave. All bib pick up must happen on Thursday or Friday at the Expo. Team DinnerImportant DetailsDate: Friday, 11/04/2022 Located in the heart of the Zoo, the Ascension St. Vincent Dolphin Gallery is the perfect place for our team to gather for an incredible night of celebration and rally. Bonus: guests will get a unique under water view of the dolphins! This will be an incredible evening of celebrations, stories, and carbo-loading for the big race ahead! Don't miss it! Be sure to pick up your race bib and packet at the Expo BEFORE Team Dinner! |
Race Day Details for RunnersDate and Important TimesSaturday, 11/05/2022 Arrive at Meeting Point: 6:45 a.m. Meeting PointLocation: Team World Vision Tent, Indiana State Museum Lawn | 650 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Our TWV Tent is located on the Indiana State Museum Lawn directly across W Washington Street from the JW Marriott. This is our TWV Indy pep rally spot in the morning before the race and our celebration spot after you finish your miles!
Gear CheckCheck your gear for free at the Monumental Marathon's Gear Check on Washington Street between Missouri Street & West Street, on the north side of the Indiana Government Center Parking Facility. Don’t leave any valuables in your bag! Leave those with your friends or family. NOTE: Only the gear check bags handed out at packet pickup are accepted at gear check on race morning. NO exceptions. Finish Line PartyLocation: Team World Vision Tent, Indiana State Museum Lawn | 650 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 After you complete your miles around the city, come back to the TWV Tent to celebrate your miles and your season-long impact. You will walk the red carpet, celebrate with teammates, friends and family members, and eat some hot and fresh kolaches!
Parking and TransportationThere are several parking options available near the TWV Tent and Start/Finish line of the race. We recommend parking in one of the three areas marked on the map below. All parking will need to be accessed from the south going north on S West St. due to race road closures. The blue star represents the Washington St. Parking Garage (aka The Indiana Government Center Parking Facility), the purple star is the underground parking right under the TWV Tent, and the green star is the White River State Park surface lot across from the back side of Victory Field. The orange star represents the TWV Tent location.

Race Day Details for SpectathletesSpectathletes, you are a crucial part of race day! You make this day special for your runner and all runners out there on the course. If you've ever run any kind of race, you know how meaningful the crowds cheers are. Be sure to cheer on all TWV participants by name, wear orange, and plan on being loud! A sign or cowbell is a great addition too. Cheer Station #1 | Mile 5 Cheer StationTime: 8:30 a.m. Cheer Station #2 | Mile 12 and 25Time: 9:30 a.m. Cheer Station DetailsBoth Cheer Stations are within walking distance of each other. Street parking is available on N Illinois St. Additional parking may be found at Walnut Street and N. Illinois Street. Due to road closures, you will need to approach from the west.
