Thank you for saying YES to the crazy adventure of running a half or full marathon on behalf of kids who don’t have access to clean water. What a season it has been! Race weekend is really the celebration of the season, and our prayer for you on race weekend is that it is a powerful time of celebration and impact. Celebration of the sacrifice, the hard miles, the tears, the laughter, and most importantly a celebration of the miles that kids will never walk because YOU said yes to moving your feet this year. This is a great way to show some team spirit, remember the incredible year we've had, and celebrate your accomplishment! It's also a great post-race option for changing out of that sweaty jersey. Bring your credit card to snag your shirt, while stocks last!
Additional NotesAll participants are required to pick up their own bib at the Health & Fitness expo. There is no race day bib pick up unless you have pre-purchased Race Day VIP Hospitality. Bib numbers will not be preassigned for the 2023 LA Marathon. Bib numbers will be dynamically assigned upon arrival at the Expo. All runners (Full Marathoners and Charity Challenge participants and all corrals) should go to the Charity Pick-up Location to secure their bib. After picking up your packet, stop by the TWV Booth! We will be selling jerseys, taking pictures, and making sure you know everything you need for race weekend! |
Team LunchImportant DetailsDate: Saturday, 03/18/2023 This will be an incredible time of celebrations, stories, and carbo-loading for the big race ahead! Don't miss it! Team lunch will be at the same location as the LA Marathon Race Expo. You can pick up your bib and then come straight to team lunch without moving your car. Parking is free at the Expo, but make sure you leave enough time, as this tends to be the busiest time at the Expo. |
Race Day Details for RunnersDate and Important TimesSunday, 03/19/2023 Meeting PointDodger Stadium, Lot 4 | 1000 Vin Scully Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90012 (same as Team Lunch) Full Marathon: Charity Challenge: Parking and Runner Drop-offDodger Stadium will open to vehicular traffic on Sunday, March 19 at 3:00am PT. Vehicular access to Dodger Stadium on race morning is only allowed through the Golden State Gate which is accessible via I-5 - Stadium Way exit. Please Note: the Stadium Way exits from CA-110 (both northbound and southbound) will be closed on race day. Use 2000 Academy Rd to navigate via GPS. This will take you directly to the Golden State Gate. Participants are allowed to park at Dodger Stadium during the Los Angeles Marathon. However, there is NO shuttle transportation from the Finish Line back to Dodger Stadium after the race. Cars will NOT be allowed to park overnight at Dodger Stadium between Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20. Please retrieve your vehicle by 8:00 pm on March 19. Vehicles left in the lot after 8:00 pm are subject to tow at their owner's expense. Pre-paid parking will be available near the finish line in Century City. We encourage runners who want to park near the Finish Line to park in one of the defined lots and take a Shuttle to the Start Line. Parking lot locations are: 2030 Century Park West, Los Angeles, CA 90067 For more information and to use the parking reservation tool to purchase pre-paid parking.
Shuttles: Finish LineShuttles are available from the Finish Line to the Start Line the morning of the race. Pick up will be on Avenue of the Stars, south of Olympic Blvd. Shuttles depart from the Start Line from 3:00 am to 5:30 am There will also be a 6:00 am and 6:30 am shuttle for Charity Challenge participants. Please note: There is no shuttle transportation from the Finish Line back to Dodger Stadium AFTER the race. We recommend getting on a shuttle that leaves you plenty of time to arrive to Dodger Stadium by 5:15 am for the full marathon and 6:45 am for the Charity Challenge (half marathon). Charity Challenge participants who wish to check gear will need to arrive earlier as Gear Check closes at 6:30 am sharp. Shuttles: Union StationPre-race shuttles are available from Union Station to the Start Line at Dodger Stadium. Shuttles will depart from Bay 9 at Patsaouras Transit Plaza. Shuttles will depart from 5:00 am to 6:00 am on race day. Please Note: there is no shuttle transportation from the Finish Line to Union Station AFTER the race. Team World Vision participants do NOT need to register for a shuttle. You can get on any race-operated shuttle departing Finish Line or Union Station by simply showing your race bib. *Union Stations are not the same as Downtown LA Hotel shuttles. See below for hotel shuttles. Shuttles: Downtown LA HotelsFor those participants that have booked a hotel in Downtown LA through the LA Marathon Hotel Reservation Center, complimentary shuttle transportation is available to the Start Line at Dodger Stadium. If you book at one of our partner hotels, you will receive your shuttle wristband upon check-in at the hotel.
Gear CheckGear check closes at 6:30 am Gear check is NOT available for half marathoners (Charity Challenge runners) unless you do it by 6:30 am If a half marathoner (Charity Challenge runner) wishes to check their gear, they must do so by 6:30 am.
Finish Line PartyTeam World Vision Tent: 10100 Constellation Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90067 Join us from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Team World Vision Finish Line Party to celebrate with your TWV family! This is the best place to meet your spectathletes(s) after the secure finish line zone. Parking is available for Spectators at the following locations near the finish line. Location: 2049 Century Park East (access is on Olympic Blvd) Constellation Place, 2000 Avenue of the Stars (access on Constellation from Century Park West) Westfield Century City Mall (access on Constellation from Century Park West) Directions: 1. Turn Right on Century Park East

Race Day Details for SpectathletesSpectathletes, you are a crucial part of race day! You make this day special for your runner and all runners out there on the course. If you've ever run any kind of race, you know how meaningful the crowds cheers are. Be sure to cheer on all TWV participants by name, wear orange, and plan on being loud! A sign or cowbell is a great addition too.
Cheer Station 1 LocationAddress: Sunset Blvd. & Fairfax 7900 West Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90046 Time: 8:15 am - 12:00 pm Details: Make sure to wear orange! We will be somewhere close to the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Fairfax Ave. near the Rite Aid - look for the orange!
Cheer Station 2 LocationAddress: Sepulveda & Ohio Time: 8:45 am - 2:00 pm Details: This cheer station is for the FULL MARATHON ONLY. Half-marathoners do not pass this point on the course. We will be on Sepulveda Blvd. near Wilshire - look for the orange!
