Packet Pickup + Expo Information 

All marathon and half marathon participants must attend the Expo to pick up their race packet, race bibs, and timing chips on FRIDAY or SATURDAY. We suggest you go on Saturday because our TEAM LUNCH is at the Expo on Saturday (see Team Lunch tab).

Saturday, 05/06/2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Parking and Transportation

The Expo is free to attend, but be prepared to pay $12 for parking. (Parking is also $12 on race day.)

The BEST way to prep for RACE DAY!

We're going to celebrate your hard work in changing so many lives!

1. You have to carbo load.
2. You have to go to the Expo anyways to pick up your bib. 

BOOM! The carbo-loading team lunch is AT the EXPO! Family and friends are welcomed. Seating is limited. TWV jerseys will be on sale.

All participants at Team Lunch will receive their 13.1 or 26.2 mile bumper sticker!

After lunch, we'll walk over to the Expo together...in slo-mo...like the cool posse of world changers that we are!

WOW, Team Lunch SOLD OUT, but you can still attend and be inspired by the program, purchase your jersey, and get your free 13.1 sticker. There may not be a seat and food unless there are no-shows. You never know. I mean, you're at the expo anyways to pick-up your bib. So you mind as well stop by and say hello!

FULL MARATHON
Pep Rally: This year, there's no pep rally before the full marathon start
Race starts: 5:30 am 
Finish Line Party: After you cross the finish line

HALF MARATHON
Recommended shuttle: 5:00 am (to make it to pep rally)
Pep Rally and team photo: 5:45 am (Time moves fast on race morning, give yourself plenty of time to make it there)

Race starts: 6:15 am
Finish Line Party: After you cross the finish line

Gear Check

Location: At the start line
The race provides excellent complimentary bag check.  Don't leave any valuables in your bag. 

Parking and Transportation

Park at the OC Fairgrounds ($12) and take the FREE shuttle to the start line. Recommended arrival time at shuttle: 5:00 a.m.

Finish Line Party

Time: As runners cross the finish line
Location: Team World Vision tent on OC Fairgrounds

Once you cross the finish line, come back to the Team World Vision tent for a celebration! Free food and drinks will be waiting for you. Friends and family are welcome to join the party, especially since the finish line will be super congested!

Race Day Details for Spectathletes

Spectathletes, you are a crucial part of race day! You make this day special for your runner and all runners out there on the course. If you've ever run any kind of race, you know how meaningful the crowds cheers are. Be sure to cheer on all TWV participants by name, wear orange, and plan on being loud! A sign or cowbell is a great addition too.

Finish Line Party

Meet your runner and celebrate at the Team World Vision tent on the OC Fairgrounds for the Finish Line Party!
