6 kilometers is the average distance that people in the developing world walk for water — water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases.

On Saturday, September 21, 2019, walk or run an average distance for an extraordinary cause.

Your registration fee — $20 for youths under 18 years old; $30 for adults over 18 — contributes to providing life-changing clean water to one person in communities where World Vision works.

With your registration fee, you will receive a 6K t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a bib with a picture of a child who will receive clean water through World Vision.

But we believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes. That’s why we’re focused on providing clean water and sanitation to every man, woman, and child in every community we work in, including the most vulnerable populations in the hardest-to-reach places.

2.3 million people reached with improved water access.

4 new schools
reached EVERY DAY, with clean water, sanitation, and hygiene.

1,496 communities certified as open defecation free by local governments.

Funded by World Vision donors from around the world in 2015.
