Can I tell you a quick story? Two years ago I was reintroduced to the work Team World Vision does. I'd forgotten about their work with children who lacked clean water... Then, one day, our church began to talk about the clean water crisis in Africa and what we can do about the crisis.

One of those things was to move our feet.

Even after hearing about the crisis, I was hesitant to run the race. Until my pastor challenged myself and a couple of other men. Let's run for clean water but at 3 AM in the morning. We did that run.

Then my heart was turned towards the needs of these children. The following year, I chose to run a full marathon (for those that don't know, that is 26.2 miles). I raised a little over $1,500 last year.

This year, I am running again. I chose to do the half marathon because I wanted to focus more on the fundraising portion than the training portion. I am still moving my feet for clean water but also creating action in raising money.

I'd like to invite you to be a part of this process as well. You can help make a difference in the life of these at-risk children. Will you read the statistics below and consider partnering with me to make a difference?

The statistics are hard to believe. Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene.

Can you imagine if your child was one of those 1,000 children to die every day? This breaks my heart.

But we believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes.

$50 = clean water for 1 person

Will you invest in the future and provide clean water for 1, 2, 3, or even more people?
