If a child is thriving, everyone’s thriving.

That’s why sponsorship matters so much to me!  When you sponsor a child through World Vision, you're not only personally showing God’s love to a child in need, you’re also investing in a proven way to help that child and their community stand tall, free from poverty.

Here's my story... My family decided to sponsor our first child thinking we wanted to help less fortunate children. Being an adopted child myself, and working with teaching special needs children,  we talked and decided to sponsor a child. We decided to look through World Vision because of their story and success. Our family now has a total of five children we sponsor. My daughter sponsors two and my husband and I three. We are also disability partners and donate to hunger in the USA. All our children are such a blessing and even though we haven’t met them, it seems we’ve known them. Their pictures and letters are a joy to receive and learn what they are doing. We’re watching them grow. Every letter and picture is a huge blessing to see the changes sponsorship makes in their lives and ours .  Every community is blessed with things like clean water, educational materials. Things we take for granted are a huge blessing and necessary to their every day lives. It truly shows how one person or family can have a huge impact with those that need it most.
