This is my 3rd year running with Team World Vision.   I am stepping up my commitment this year and running another Full Marathon and in New York City! Yikes! It is my goal to help find sponsors for 10 precious children, but I need your help.  Please prayerfully consider, and if you are unable at this time please feel free to share my link with others who may want the opportunity!  

As many of you know before World Vision, I hadn't ran a single mile in my life.  My motto has become, "I don't run on purpose; but I will run for a purpose!"  After Ada, my first granddaughter, was born in November it actually solidified for me the importance of this mission on a different level.  If Ada was in a country where her basic needs such as clean water, access to education, and basic health care were not readily available, I would want someone to stand in that gap for her.    Which is why I started sponsoring a young lady from Kenya last race season.

This year's goal is a leap of huge faith as I look to double last years impact for these children and their communities.  I have watched God do exceedingly and abundantly more than I asked these last two years in and through me for this cause and I look forward to seeing where He takes it this year!
