I'm running the NYC Marathon with Team World Vision to help provide life-changing clean water and much more to children and communities in the developing world. This will be my 1st race in New York and a marathon in likely my 37th state while helping an amazing cause! The goal is lasting change that breaks the cycle of Poverty for future generations.

Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene. World Vision provides more clean water than any nongovernment organization in the world, providing clean water to one new person every 10 seconds. They work to help communities lift themselves out of poverty for good by addressing issues around clean water, hunger, health, education, economic empowerment, and child protection.
