In September of 2021 my 11 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Without the help of modern medicine, I’m certain he would have died. In 2022 we began to sponsor Serysea who is the same age as my son. I'm running with Team World Vision to help provide life-changing clean water to her and children and communities in the developing world. In the past two years (2023 and 2024) I have raised $4,000 for World Vision and have competed in the half marathon. This year in 2025 I have bigger goals, I am running in New York and hope have 10 people sign up to sponsor a child. 

Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene. But we believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes.
