2017 Ironman Wisconsin

I've been marathoning for 7 years now, but this year, I've signed up for IRONMAN Wisconsin. Known as the World's Toughest Triathlon, this 140.6 mile race of swimming, biking, and running will, by far, be my greatest challenge yet. I've never done ANY sort of triathlon before, so this should be a very, very good story, that will hopefully end with hundreds of children in Africa receiving clean water and hope for a full life.

After two visits to Africa, I've come to believe 2 things...

  1. No one should have to live without clean water. Every one of God's children deserves it.
  2. WE can do more to make that happen.

World Vision provides more clean water than any nongovernment organization in the world. The work they are doing in Africa is helping solve the entire puzzle of poverty -- starting with clean water, which then opens the door for nutritious food, education, medical care, economic opportunity, and spiritual development.

$50 will provide one person with sustainable access to clean water, often for as long as their entire lifetime.

We have the ability to change lives together. Let's make this our best year yet. Please give generously.
