Last year Maggie (6) read a story about a girl her age in Kenya who has to walk 5 miles a day to help her mom get water. Maggie didn't think it was fair that this little girl had to spend her days walking to get water instead of going to school and playing! We learned about World Vision's 6K for water and signed up. Last year, Maggie set a goal to provide clean water for 8 kids. This year we're hoping to help 12 ($600)! We had so much fun walking together that Maggie's little sister, Belle (4), wants to join this year! We'd love to have you join us too - the more the merrier!
THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE. Join us and advocates across the globe in our mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world.
Walk, run, or push a stroller with us at the World Vision Global 6K for Water on May 19th, 2018. We'll do a 3k loop (~1.3miles) around the MSU campus so younger walkers can have a shorter option. Snacks and drinks at our house after! Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child, like the child on your race bib!
p.s. kids registrations are only $25 and they get a tshirt and a medal - my kids LOVE that ;)
