I'm running a half marathon with Team World Vision for the first time in my life because there are kids without clean water in Africa. It's part of a bigger plan to bring everyone in the world clean water by 2030.
There's another reason I'm running this year: in celebration of my 50th birthday, which is just days before the race. My goal is to raise funds to provide clean water for 50 people, one for each of my years.
$50 = clean water for 1 person.
$50 x 50 = $2500. A big goal for me, but I'm confident I can achieve it with your help.
Will you join me in putting an end to this crisis for kids and families in Africa? They suffer greatly from having to walk long distances for dirty, unsafe water. It makes kids sick, keeps them out of school, and puts them in danger of human trafficking.
Together, we can help change lives.
Thanks so much for making a real difference in the lives of real kids in Congo!
