THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE. Join thousands of people across the globe in our mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world. Walk, run, or push a stroller with us at the World Vision Global 6K for Water on May 22nd, 2021. Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child!

Why 6K? It is estimated that 6K (or 3.7 miles) is the average distance that people walk for water in the developing world. Read this:

How does it work? If you’ve never done the 6K for Water before, it isn't a typical race. Your registration fee provides clean water for the child pictured on your race bib - we are running for them. Your race packet will tell you lots more about them and the mission of World Vision. This is a small race and is not timed, so think of it more as a group run.

Race Day: We will meet on race day, Saturday, May 22nd, at 8:45am in Indian Spring Park. Wear your orange shirts! We will take a group photo before we begin. I will also have extra shirts and registration forms for anyone to sign up last minute.

The race will start at 9am - keep in mind that the course is not marked. From the starting point in Indian Springs Park, head north on the river path up to Herring Avenue, cross the bridge, back down the other side, cross the Washington Avenue bridge and finish back at Indian Springs Park. It's one big loop. Since the suspension bridge remains under renovation, it is not on the route as in previous years.

Also be aware that other events may be occurring in the park at the same time. Please be mindful and courteous to others on the trail! After you finish, I will have water and medals for everyone. That's it - thank you!
