Since our team's inception in 2015, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has raised close to $500,000 for clean water. Every year a group of church members and their family and friends, dedicates part of the year to training and running in the full or half marathon in Madison in November. There are still people around the world without access to clean water and we feel called to serve in this way and change the narrative for those who have to walk every day just so their family has water to drink, bathe, and cook with.
If you have ever considered a full or half marathon, please reach out to our team! It doesn't matter how fast you are, you can even walk the entire way!
