At GatheringPoint, we have been partnering with Team World Vision for the past seven years inviting people to participate in the Chicago Marathon and Global 6K. In that time, we've raised over $400,000 and given clean water to more than 8000 people! That is Awesome!
But the work isn't done yet and so again this year, we've decided to open the gates even wider for more people to get involved. Maybe a marathon seems like too much to start with and a 6K doesn't quite challenge you... so we are once again inviting people to join us in a half marathon with the same goal of raising money for clean water.
This team will be running the Illinois Half Marathon in Champaign on April 27, 2024. Training starts on Feb. 5, but even if you found this page late, there is still time to catch up. We hope you'll join us in moving our feet on behalf of those in need.
