I'm climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in July with Team World Vision to help find sponsors for needy children.
Here's my story...
My dad was a World Vision executive for many years. He believed we have no business telling people about Jesus if we don't first lift them out of poverty. That stuck with me.
We are a rich people. Lifting children from poverty abroad costs less than a dinner out or a media subscription. For just $39/month, the child and the village in which they live will be transformed by meeting the needs the village identifies. Clean water, school, medical needs, training for sustainability - World Vision works with each village to train them on overcoming poverty.
Helping a child also impacts climate change. Clean water negates the need to burn wood and dung to boil water. Sustainable living lessons deforestation.
Practice generosity and change the world. Join me in sponsoring a child.
You will never regret your investment!
